How a Solar Hybrid Lithium System Works
A solar power hybrid lithium system provides electricity to your home or business from photovoltaic (PV) cells in solar panels mounted on your roof or in your yard. The same as with a grid tied system. The main difference is that when more electricity is being produced by the solar panels during the day instead of being fed back into the PEA grid, it is stored in lithium batteries. This stored electricity is then used to power your system at night. When your batteries reach full charge, then the excess electricity is fed back into the grid. If at times there is insufficient electricity being generated by the solar panels to keep the lithium batteries charged, the system switches back to grid power when required, thereby ensuring consistent power and zero damage to your batteries.

The one main advantage over non-battery systems is when the grid power fails at night. During the hours of darkness your solar panels are not producing electricity. This means that during grid power cuts you have the advantage of having constant power provided by your lithium batteries.
Because this system incorporates battery backup, so when the grid goes down at night and stops supplying electricity, your system draws it from the battery.
